Beto opened the scoring early for the visitors before Hee Chan Hwang levelled on 21 minutes. Iliman Ndiaye and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall then scored either side of half time to give Everton a two-goal advantage. Rodrigo Gomes scored ten minutes from time but it proved to be too little, too late as Vitor Pereira’s men slipped to defeat.
