In the opening five minutes, Marcus Tavernier’s deflected shot found its way into the roof of the net. The hosts held their lead into the second half, and shortly after the interval Toti Gomes was sent off. Wolves searched for a way back into the game, but Bournemouth, with their man advantage, held on for victory.
